Ok, this post was born from one of those things I have always done … Overlay.
Over the years I have covered books, containers, boxes. Than, with decoupage, ‘covering’ has reached a new definition!! Anything was decorated, paper and glue were a must! And in fact I must admit that in my house the vinyl glue is never lacking 🙂

So yes, today we overlay!! And we work with my beloved resin fabric and cardboard boxes (in this case those of motorcycle helmets) to make them prettier, at least in my sight (I’m not sure if my husband sees it the same way :-))

I know it is a very simple thing but we often forget how functional easy things can be. Aren’t they cute?

+++ITA Version+++

Ok, questo post nasce da una di quelle cose che faccio praticamente da sempre… Ricoprire. Negli anni ho ricoperto libri, contenitori, scatole, con il decoupage poi il ‘ricoprire’ ha toccato nuove vette!! Si decorava qualsiasi cosa, carta e colla vinilica erano un must! Ed in effetti devo ammettere che in casa mia la colla vinilica non manca mai 🙂

Quindi si, oggi incolliamo!! Ed incolliamo la mia amata stoffa resinata sopra a delle scatole di cartone (in particolare quelle dei caschi da moto) per renderle più carine, almeno alla mia vista (non sono certa che il marito la veda allo stesso modo 🙂 )

So che si tratta di una cosa semplicissima ma spesso ci si dimentica di quanto funzionale possano essere le cose facili. Non sono carine?

P.S. Se siete nuovi di queste parti forse non sapete quanti usi possono avere le stoffe resinate, bene, qui ci sono alcuni esempi: ricoprire scatole, valige, armadi. Realizzare borse, zainetti…
