We bought a house! After years of searching and doubts that help you understand how deep my two personalities are (city centre or countryside, independent or a flat?! ) we finally bought a house! So what did we choose?!

At the end my country spirit won! It is an old bricks house with garden, 10 minutes away from the city. It is quite in good shape, we have this old barn that needs restoration but it is separated from the house so we can look at it later.

The idea was to fix some small problems and move in as fast as we can but, as usual, we found some other ‘small things’ to do so  this is taking some more time than we thought.. this is why I didn’t post for so long  😦

Now, that we are finally see the light at the end of works I’m back 🙂 with some work in progress photos if you like..

Abbiamo comperato casa! Dopo anni di ricerche e dubbi esistenziali che ben rappresentano in mio sdoppiamento di personalità (centro città o campagna, casa o appartamento?!) abbiamo finalmente deciso. Vista, piaciuta, comprata! Cos’è?

Alla fine la vena campagnola ha vinto! E’ una vecchia casetta in mattoni pieni con giardino a 10 minuti dalla città. In parte ristrutturata, in parte da ristrutturare, insomma, da fare un po’ ce n’è!

L’idea era renderla abitabile e trasferirci il prima possibile ma, come spesso accade, una cosa tira l’altra e, diciamolo, i tempi si stanno un po’ allungando.. la mia totale latitanza degli ultimi mesi è sostanzialmente dovuta a questo. Ora però sono mooolto più preparata su, intonaco, intonachino, isolamenti, tagliate, tubature, ghiaie e cementi 🙂

Ore che questa prima intensa sessione di lavori è pressoché terminata, sono tornata! Con qualche foto del ‘work in progress’ se vi va..
