Some time ago we found this series of promotional magnetic notebooks, essentially two rectangular magnets (that light magnetized material that looks like plastic..) with a strip of paper inside on which you can wrote telephon numbers or addresses. A very useful object in the age of mobile phones.

At first I wasn’t sure what to do with them but throwing them away wasn’t an option. So I started cleaning them, separated the paper from the magnetic parts and left the last ones immersed in soapy water for one night. The next day I scrubbed the paper residue off with a brush.

Once dry they are ready to be decorated as you like. I chose to write cute sentences with a white uniposca and give them as a gift for Christmas. But they are also perfect to be cut, perforated, decoupaged ..

Un bel riciclo creativo facile facile!

Tempo fa ci hanno regalato questa serie di agendine magnetiche promozionali, in sostanza due calamite rettangolari (quel materiale calamitato leggero che sembra plastica spessa. con all’interno una striscia di carta a righe su cui si potevano segnare numeri ed indirizzi. Insomma un oggetto utilissimo nell’era dei cellulari.

All’inizio non sapevo bene cosa farci ma buttarle non era un’opzione. Così ho iniziato a ripulirle, ho separato la carta dalle parti magnetiche e ho lasciato le ultime immarse in acqua e sapone per una notte. Il giorno dopo ho grattato via i residui con una spazzola.

Una volta asciutte sono pronte per essere decorate come più vi piace. Io ho scelto di scriverci delle frasi carine con un uniposca bianco e di regalarle a Natale. Ma sono perfette anche per essere tagliate, traforate, decoupagiate..
