Siguiendo el hilo” is a book I really love, there are some great projects, simply explained (in Spanish).

It was the book when I found my first “no visible stitches on the front” bag pattern. I was so excited that I sewed 4 identical bags 🙂

There are no photo-tutorial on the book, everithing is explained with lovely detailed pictures like the one at the end of the post.
If you love bags or sacks you will appreciate this book, but there are also some interesting ideas for decorations, angels, tea pot cover and more. I hope to be able to write about some projects from this book in the next posts.

I had just a few difficulties following the instructions and I don’t know Spanish so, I think it is really well done.

I’ve tried to find the book online, Amazon didn’t help me this time, so I searched for the editor site.
But the editor is in Denmark and unfortunately (or maybe luckily if you live there) they sell the Danish version of the book.

NEWS: I’ve just find this shop in Como that seems to sell it 🙂

“Siguiendo el hilo” nonostante sia in spagnolo arriva direttamente da una splendida merceria italiana.. Ho adorato questo libro, le sue illustrazioni, i suggerimenti.. E’ stato il primo libro dove ho trovato un modello di borsa senza cuciture visibili, ne sono rimasta così colpita che ne ho cucite 4 uguali 🙂

Unico avvertimento, non troverete tutorial fotografici, i passaggi delle varie realizzazioni sono spiegati grazie ai disegni, come potete vedere nell’immagine qui sotto. Troverete molti spunti per la realizzazione e la decorazione di borse, zaini, astucci, sacchetti ma anche angeli, copri teiere presine.. Insomma tante idee carine e semplici da realizzare. Spero di riuscire a raccontarvene alcune nei prossimi post..

Ho cercato di trovare il libro da qualche parta su internet, Amazon non mi ha aiutata questa volta. La casa editrice distribuisce ancora il volume ma in danese, se vi destreggiate con la lingua (tutta la mia stima!) lo trovate sul sito della Klematis.

In alternativa l’inédite pubblica alcune altre opere di Anne Pia Godske Rasmussen, questa volta in francese.

NEWS: sembra che un negozio di Como lo venda ancora! Questo oltre a moltissime altre cosa 🙂
