Last year we went to our first motorbike meeting in vintage clothes, it was a really nice experience so… we went to our second vintage meeting 😁

Last sunday we went to the first 2018 meeting in 70’s dresses (here you can see some photos) and now we are working on the dresses for the july event, this time is 50’s.
I’m still defining the dress.. But I’ve found this lovely blue hat in a vintage market and I decided to create my look all around it 😎

This is why I paint my shoes 👠 and… I love the result 💚 😉

Have you ever thought to use acrylic paint on a pair of leather shoes? Well, I did 😊

I use a very thin glass paper to prerare the surface then paint it with acryli spray. I’m quite happy with the result, now I have to try them to test the resistance 🙄 and finalize my outfit. I’ll let you know 🤗

Lo scorso anno abbiamo partecipato al nostro primo raduno di moto storiche in abbigliamento d’epoca, e… ci siamo divertiti un sacco!! Così, abbiamo partecipato al nostro secondo raduno vintage 😁

La scorsa domenica abbiamo replicato partecipando al primo raduno dell’anno. Per la prima uscita abbiamo optato per gli anni 70, la honda e un po’ di mood hippy (qui trovate qualche foto). Ora invece dobbiamo lavorare sul raduno di luglio, questa volta sfoderiamo gli anni 50!!

Non abbiamo ancora definito bene il look, ma ho deciso di studiarlo a partire da questo fantastico cappello, color carta da zucchero, trovato in un mercatino vintage qualche tempo fa 😎

Ecco perchè ho deciso di riverniciare, in tinta, un vecchio paio di scarpe 👠. Devo ammettere che sono abbastanza soddisfatta del risultato 💚 😉

Avete mai tinto un paio di scarpe di pelle con della vernice acrilica? Bhe, io l’ho fatto😊

Ho usato una carta vetrata finissima per rimuovere la finitura lucida dalle scarpe e poi le ho pitturare con uno spray acrilico. Per ora l’effetto è molto carino,  devo ancora testare la resistenza del colore e vedere se reggerà all’uso o se è destinato a creparsi 🙄. Vi terrò aggiornati 🤗
