This is a project I really love, it is the ring cushion I made for my wedding 🙂

I didn’t like the classic cushion so I was looking for something different when I found the pattern for his amazing big flower.
I tried it, changing something, and the result was lovelly. I put a big wood button as central of the flower and fix it with a ribbon so we can use the ribbon to secure the rings. I sewed the flower to the real cushion made by my grandma, you can see it under the flower.

I liked this flower so much that I use it also for the rice basket..

Questo è il cuscino porta fedi che ho fatto per il mio matrimonio, potete immaginare quanto ami questo progetto 🙂
Non sono mai stata un’amante dei cuscini tradizionali, raso, pizzi.. tutto troppo elegante per me.. mentre mi guardavo attorno mi sono imbattuta in questo meraviglioso fiorellone (se volete ecco il modello). Ne ho fatto uno quasi per scherzo, l’ho modificato un po’ qua e la e me ne sono innamorata. Ho usato un bottone di legno come centrale, è fissato con un nastrino che è servito anche per assicurare le fedi.
Per renderlo ‘portabile’ l’ho cucito al vero e proprio cuscino che ha realizzato la nonna, lo vedete sotto al fiore..

Il risultato mi è piaciuto così tanto che ne ho fatto un secondo da mettere sopra al cesto per il riso sfuso..
