This year we organized our first classic car trip. It was a short trip, just a couple of days, and not too far away, in Slovenia, with the excuse of visiting the “Grom” vintage motorcycle museum.

We were in the good company of seven other crews, all aboard their historic cars, some more modern than others.

Slovenia turned out to be an excellent choice, fresh, green, welcoming… Wonderful roads, splendid cities… We couldn’t have asked for more.

If you have the chance, lose yourself on Slovenian roads, visit villages (Kamnik for example), and don’t miss Ljubljana, a veritable treasure trove of wonder. It reminded us of Prague, but also a little bit of Paris, with a hint of Austrian order and Swiss cleanliness that never hurt. In short, if the opportunity doesn’t present itself, create it! It’s worth it.

Also, if you’d like to see a small but interesting and curious motorcycle museum, stop by the Grom family museum.

Quest’anno abbiamo organizzato il nostro primo viaggio con le auto storiche. Un viaggio breve, solo un paio di giorni, e non troppo distante, in Slovenia, con la scusa di visitare il museo “Grom” di moto d’epoca.

Ci hanno seguiti altri 7 equipaggi, tutti a bordo delle loro storiche, alcune più moderne di altre..

La Slovenia si è rivelata un’ottima scelta, fresca, verde, accogliente.. Strade meravigliose, città splendide.. Non avremmo potuto chiedere di più.

Se ne avete l’occasione perdetevi sulle strade Slovene, visitate paesi (Kamnik ad esempio) e non perdetevi Lubiana, un sunto di meraviglia, a noi ha ricordato Praga ma anche un pochino Parigi, con una punta di ordine Austriaco e pulizia Svizzera che non guastano mai. Insomma, se l’occasione non si presenta da sola, createla! Che ne vale la pena.

Se poi avete voglia di vedere un “piccolo” ma interessante e curioso museo motociclistico passate a dare un’occhiata al museo della famiglia Grom.
