I told you that “grandma’s house” would be a recurring theme in the posts, but I didn’t imagine it would be so soon. Among the various things that emerged from the closets, still in their original box, I found this white linen double-size sheet.

A gorgeous linen, or at least, the linen I immediately loved. I’d been wanting a simple, white tablecloth for a while, and so here we are. I took the measurements, turned the excess into napkins, and I present to you my new tablecloth! In this case, it’s all thanks to the sewing machine, a splendid invention.

Obviously I couldn’t throw away the box. I don’t know what I’ll do with it yet, but I hope I can come up with something.

Vi avevo detto che “casa della nonna” sarebbe stata un soggetto ricorrente nei post, non immaginavo così presto però. Tra le varie cose riemerse dagli armadi, ancora all’interno della scatola originale, ho trovato questo lenzuolo matrimoniale di lino bianco.

Un lino splendido, o almeno, ul lino che a me è piaciuto subito moltissimo. Era un po’ di tempo che volevo una tovaglia bianca, semplice e così eccoci qui, fatte le misure, trasformata la parte in eccesso in tovaglioli vibpresento la mia nuova Tovaglia! In questo caso tutto merito della taglia e cuci, splendida invenzione 😍

Ovviamente non sono riuscita a buttare la scatola.. Non so ancora cosa ne farò ma conto di riuscire ad inventarmi qualcosa..
