Last year I told you about Belle Èpoque, the vintage car and motorcycle gathering we organize on Lake Como, and then, some time later, I wrote about how struck I was by the beauty of the historic part of Mandello del Lario.

Now, imagine how pleased I must have been to bring Belle Èpoque to Mandello del Lario for the 2025 edition.

The Municipality of Mandello was more than accommodating, they allowed us to parade under the arcades of the historic center, we had the availability of the Mato Grosso association to organize breakfast and lunch for the participants, we had two squares and the alley on the lakeside… It was splendid!

Furthermore, to give greater prominence to vintage clothing, we organized a fashion show thanks to the collaboration with Garage Storico.

You can find Leonardo’s video on the Belle Èpoque website or on YouTube. It was a busy Sunday for us, beyond anything we could have imagined, but it was wonderful. The people’s reaction and the atmosphere were truly worth it!

And this year it’s happening again! Mandello has already confirmed its availability, and we’re working on bringing some new features to our “day in the past.”

Lo scorso anno vi avevo parlato di Belle Èpoque il raduno di auto e moto d’epoca che organizziamo sul lago di Como e poi, qualche tempo dopo, avevo scritto di quanto fossi rimasta colpita dalla bellezza della parte storica di Mandello del Lario.

Ora, immaginate quanto possa avermi fatto piacere portare Belle Èpoque a Mandello del Lario per l’edizione 2025.

Il Comune di Mandello è stato più che disponibile, ci hanno permesso di sfilare sotto i portici del centro storico, abbiamo avuto la disponibilità dell’associazione Mato Grosso per l’organizzazione di colazione e pranzo per i partecipanti, abbiamo occupato due piazze e l’allea in riva al lago.. È stato splendido!

Inoltre per dere maggiore risalto all’abbigliamento abbiamo organizzato una sfilata di abiti d’epoca grazie alla collaborazione con Garage Storico.

Sul sito di Belle Èpoque o su YouTube trovate il video realizzato da Leonardo. Per noi è stata una domenica impegnativa oltre quanto avremmo potuto immaginare ma stupenda. La reazione delle persone, l’aria che si respirava ne è valsa veramente la pena!!

E quest’anno si replica! Mandello ha già dato disponibilità e noi stiamo lavorando per portare qualche novità nella nostra “giornata d’altri tempi”.
