Last Sunday we went to this lovely vintage 👒🎩 motorcycle rally 🛵 in Aprica ⛰️.
This was the occasion to wear my new pois skirt with blue shoes, hat and clutch, all the stuff together 😀.
So here we are with some friends and our 1954 Lambretta, what do you think?

About the skirt, I’m working on a tutorial ( a sort of…) I think this could help me remember all the passages for the next time. This model is really versatile I want to test it in some other versions 😉

The model is similar to the one I used for the butterfly skirt but this time we use double fabric and we put a waistband not just an elastic band. Also the choose of fabric made this skirt much more ‘aflutter’. I hope to be able to post the tutorial soon..

Domenica scorsa abbiamo partecipato al primo motoraduno 🛵 in abbigliamento d’epoca👒🎩 in Aprica ⛰️. È stata l’occasione per sfoggiare la nuova gonna a pois, oltre a scarpe , borsa e cappello blu, insomma tutto l’insieme 😀

Ed accoci qui, con la nostra super Lambretta del 1954. Che ve ne pare?

Sto cercando di scrivere una specie di tutorial per la realizzazione della gonna, forse è più corretto definirli appunti visivi qualcosa che mi aiuti a ricordare tutti i passaggi, spero di riuscire a pubblicare a breve ma soprattutto spero che possano spingere qualcuno a provare. Le gonne di questo tipo danno tanta soddisfazione, sono semplici da realizzare, portabilissime e super versatili. Io, ad esempio, sto pensando da un po’ di farmene una in tulle, super leggera e svolazzante per l’estate.. Vediamo se riesco a riordinare le idee 😉.

Intanto inizio ad anticipare che il modello è simile a quello usato per la gonna con le farfalle solo che questa volta ho raddoppiato l’ampiezza ed applicato la cintura in vita (anziché l’elastico) inoltre la stoffa scelta ha fatto si che l’effetto finale fosse molto più morbido.
